2014 Final American Karting Championship
Here’s my experience in Las Vegas’ Final American Karting Championship. Join me for this fun experience!
In November 2014, I visited las Vegas, where I attended the FINAL AMERICAN KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP.
I went there with my cousin as my manager, and my father arrived 3 days later. We flew from Madrid to Los Angeles on Monday, then drove to Las Vegas. We wanted to be there with enough time since the event started on Friday. As we had time available for a bit of tourism, we visited different places and theatres that are a “must” in Vegas, such as CIRQUE DU SOLEIL, and obviously, spent some time gambling at the famous Casinos.
Testing started on Friday, so on Thursday we started to prepare everything, going to the drivers briefing and focusing on the race working with the team and preparing everything. Friday testing was really good as we were top 3 always from more than 100 best American and worldwide drivers in the ROTAX X30 so we were ready for the Saturday Qualifying. On Saturday we had a technical problem on the kart and we started to struggle because we didn’t find the problem as we saw that was the carburator but it was late as we had already finished. We couldn´t do the final although we were one of the quickest drivers on track, but we had a great time over there in Vegas and we were aiming to win when everything was ready.
